I once shot at an angled shikishima (pretty much standing still) at 21km in my thunderer. we have a potato in Thunderer spamming HE from max range and he his ONE SHELL. Enemy makes a mistake, you shoot a perfect shot and the game gives you the middle finger. Shooting in this game is so much RNG driven. If you target in front of him or even bow.

He is going full speed, yet you have to aim in the middle of the ship. Try shooting at Missouri when he is leaving the port (before he makes a left turn). That also means, there is no way to actually aim at the bow/superstructure of the ship, because you cant take any lead. Then i figured out, just aim at the bow and you will hit, which makes 0 sense, because no lead would mean, shells should land behind the ship - which they dont. And at some point, no matter how much you aimed ahead of the ship, even like 2-3km, the shells would land behind the ship. I remember like 3-4 years ago, you could aim infront of a ship which was moving straight at you.
